Multi-Media artist Catherine J. Richardson of Santa Rosa, CA, studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in Great Britain where she received her B.F.A in metal sculpture and silversmithing. She received her M.F.A from John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, CA.
Richardson has taught and mentored artists in metal arts at several Northern California institutions including the Esalen Institute in Big Sur. Her work has been exhibited at Gallery Route One in Point Reyes Station, The Mesh Gallery and the Sebastopol Center for the Arts in Sebastopol, CA plus the Jersey Galleries in London, UK
Multi-Media artist Seth Minor of Camp Meeker, CA, was a photography major at Santa Rosa Junior College and majored in sculpture and digital video at the University of California at Berkeley, which included spending a semester in Paris.
Minor's themes for his installations range from dark days, a 6,500 foot single continuous wire as a response to September 11th to everything i have learned so far
as an homage to "the patriarchal garage/workspaces that were so altar-like in my family." Minor's video works are examples of "compositional explorations" influenced by and featuring his musical talents.
Ceramic sculptor Todd Barricklow of Santa Rosa, CA grew up in the San Fernando Valley and is the eldest son of two marionette-making school teachers. Encouraged in the arts from an early age, he attended a humanities magnet high school where he started working in ceramics and drawing. He continued his education at Sonoma State University where he gradutaed with distinction in 1992.
His work has been exhibited at the diRosa Preserve in Napa, CA, the Roshambo Gallery in Healdsburg, CA, and the Compound Gallery in Portland, Oregon. His work is featured in the permanent collection of the Kohler Arts Center in Kohler, Wisconsin.
